I made an appointment for 2:30pm today (new patient). I had a toothache from 2 teeth that were beyond saving. It was very painful. I was so glad they were able to see me so soon. They did an xray and showed me what needed to be done. They needed to be extracted. I agreed. Dr. Wyatt came in, numbed the area and pulled both teeth. I was on my way home before 3pm. Dr. Wyatt and the entire staff was absolutely wonderful. I definitely will be returning. 💯

A Life-Changing Experience - So Glad I Found Dr. Wyatt! I spent years dreading the day I'd need dentures, watching TV commercials and wondering where to turn. I'd heard stories from friends and neighbors who spent anywhere from $10K to $30K, and with no dental insurance, I felt completely overwhelmed and lost. I first heard about Dr. Joshua Wyatt on my local Nextdoor website, where people in the community had posted about their positive experiences. That's what gave me the confidence to reach out. I originally came to South Tampa Dentistry to see Dr. Wyatt for a tooth extraction, and I casually mentioned my concerns about eventually needing dentures. I honestly didn't think they did that kind of work since they don't advertise it like those big denture chains you see everywhere. But Dr. Wyatt told me he does dentures and walked me through the entire process and the costs. I couldn't believe how reasonable his pricing was compared to the other places I'd visited. I was so nervous about making the right choice, but deciding to move forward with Dr. Wyatt was one of the best decisions I've made. Yes, it's a process that takes time and multiple visits, but Dr. Wyatt (and Dr. Mark McCaughey, who helped me with an adjustment when Dr. Wyatt wasn't available) were patient, professional, and genuinely caring every step of the way. The entire staff at South Tampa Dentistry is wonderful - friendly, welcoming, and they made me feel comfortable throughout the whole journey. I'm absolutely thrilled with my results! If you're considering dentures and feeling as lost and anxious as I was, I would not hesitate for a second to recommend South Tampa Dentistry. Dr. Wyatt and his team made what seemed like an impossible situation completely manageable, and I couldn't be happier.

I am very happy and grateful for everyone at the office. I was made to feel comfortable. I appreciate the upfront education and kindness I was given regarding ever step of my dental health journey and a solid plan continue on the right path. Everyone needs dental care and I would sincerely recommend South Tampa Dentistry as I will be continuing with them on my quest for better dental health which ultimately leads to better overall body health and confidence. Great experience at South Tampa Dentistry! The staff is super friendly, the office is clean and modern, and everything was explained clearly. I felt comfortable the whole time and never rushed. Highly recommend! Dr. Wyatt and Dr. Mark are both awesome and care about all of their patients

I have always hated going to the dentist, but South Tampa Dentistry changed that. I’ve used multiple hygienists and have never had a bad experience. Both doctors are very thorough and gentle, and they always make me feel comfortable. I now actually look forward to getting my cleanings. Thank you, South Tampa Dentistry!

They are quick and efficient, and are also very kind! There was no judgment about the fact that I hadn't been to the dentist in a couple of years, and when I accidentally missed an appointment, they were very understanding and just rescheduled me. Both of these things initially made me nervous, but it's clear that I can trust South Tampa Denistry and I'm real to glad I found them!

So grateful to Dr. Wyatt and his team. I was a new patient today and they not only were so helpful at the desk but they even got me right in 15 minutes later for a cleaning after my exam!! Total win. Super appreciate the honesty and recommendations and I never felt like I was being pushed into care I didn't need. Very fun and upbeat office!

I hate the dentist but when I come to South Tampa Dentistry they ALWAYS make me feel at home and are truly genuine staff. From the receptionist, to the dental hygienist and the Doctor they work very well as a team. Dental hygienist Jamie went above and beyond to ensure I understood everything, and I really appreciated it because most places won’t take the time. Doctor Mark was great, per usual. The following visit a had a teeth cleaning with dental hygienist Nicki and she was absolutely amazing it was the most painless teeth cleaning I've gotten in my life. If you are looking for a dentist's office that does a great job look no further this place is a 10/10.

I had been going to a dentist down the street for about a year, and I dreaded going to my appointments so much, not because I don’t like going to the dentist, but because I felt like I was being cornered and pressured into services every single time I went there. It was the most uncomfortable experience. So, when my next exam & cleaning were due, I decided it was time to find a new dentist. I searched for dentists in South Tampa, and South Tampa Dentistry popped up. They had a perfect rating, just like the last dentist, but one review stood out to me. The reviewer mentioned how they didn’t feel pressured into services they were not interested in, and after reading that, I was ready to book! I saw that Dr. McCaughey had an appointment available, so I looked over his bio real quick and was pleased to read that he’s from Iowa, because my dad was also from Iowa. I had my first visit with Dr. McCaughey back in October, and I felt so incredibly comfortable with him! My two front teeth were slightly uneven, and I asked him if he could give me a quote to have them filed and evened out. He took a look and said, “I can do that for you real quick.” I seriously wanted to cry! The last doctor quoted $600 to file them down, and Dr. McCaughey did it as a courtesy. I was so touched by that; I knew right then and there I was never going to another dentist, and I’d refer anyone looking for a dentist to him! I checked out with Cayln, who was the absolute sweetest! She took the time to go over their whitening kits (which I will be going back for!) and was just so pleasant to talk to. Oh and I love the dental hygienist who cleans my teeth; her chair is the last one in the back on the left, I believe her name is Yani. She’s wonderful! I’ve had three visits since October, and I’ve looked forward to every single one. The energy in their office is incredible; you can just tell they are passionate about what they do and are so dedicated to making their patients’ experience a positive one
